Key takeaway : If you are serious about understanding the constraints and design challenges of the major CSPs networking and security related functions and how Aviatrix, for example, could be used to provide a more coherent and flexible Multi Cloud architecture, then the Aviatrix ACE learning path is for you.
I’m a huge fan of certifications. Not because I think they make my CV look better, but quite simply because they offer a structured approach to learning something new. Of course, some are hit and miss and others are clearly not real-world credible, but, in general, they’re rarely a waste of time.
In my quest to define and prescribe the elements needed for Architecting Cloud infrastructure, I signed up for the Aviatrix ACE associate level learning path.
Honestly, I could not recommend this training more highly. From following a lot of the Aviatrix learning sessions I see a common thread – they get to the heart of the matter very quickly and clearly and this is also true of the self paced training. Having spent more than 20 years in IT and followed so many vendor trainings, I noticed that Aviatrix’s sessions are very mature for a “start-up”. Sure, the experts are industry veterans, but it’s all just so easily digested and pertinent.
Anyways, for anyone still interested in doing the training, you may still be lucky enough to get a free code on the website below:

Following the training, you may also still be eligible for a free attempt at the exam:
The Aviatrix Certified Engineer (ACE) Multi-Cloud Network Associate certification validates the earner’s understanding of basic networking and security concepts for AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI as well as their limitations in meeting Enterprise requirements. An ACE-Associate understands the basic design principles of a multi-cloud network architecture and can demonstrate knowledge of day 2 operational requirements.
Exam aside, you can get an appreciation for the course content here:
My advice, if the training is still free, jump on it.
